Mission Hills Real Estate Info

The neighborhood of Mission Hills is located on the hills just south of the San Diego River valley and north of downtown San Diego. The primarily residential area is populated most with houses and apartments although a number of small shops and restaurants line some of Mission Hills’ streets. Most of the houses are vintage properties, developed in the early 20th century but carefully preserved and restored. Several modern homes have also been built in Mission Hills, although the charm and unique atmosphere created by the rustic houses is still the most treasured part of the community.

The University of San Diego is just across the I-8 interstate from Mission Hills. The institution offers more than sixty bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs and consists of six schools.
